BISKUT ARAB COOKIES


A very simple yet nice and wonderful cookies that I love to make.  Not only during Hari Raya...it can be made at any time you wish...  Biskut Arab @ Arab Cookies.

250gm plain flour
125gm castor sugar
125gm ghee (minyak sapi)
food coloring (as you wish)
cookies paper cups (as for these much amount of ingredients, I can make up to 50 cups!)
enough of icing sugar 

Method:
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl; flour, sugar and ghee.  
  2. Mix well using your fingers (or mixer).
  3. Divide the dough in two or three separate bowl (depends on how many colors you want the cookies to be).  Put a few drops of the colors and mix well for each separate dough.
  4. Pinch a finger-full from each color and round them. Place it in the paper cup.  Bake at 180 degree Celcius for 25 minutes
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool for quite some time, drizzle the icing sugar using the strainer (penapis teh) on top of the cookies...wallah!  InsyaAllah...your cookies will turn out just well.
